The safety and welfare of your dog is a priority. I provide a one-to-one grooming experience in a relaxed and safe environment. I use quality and natural products to care for the skin and coat, carefully choosing the most appropriate shampoo for each dog. Grooming records are kept for each dog which are updated after each appointment to track any changes in any health condition or groom requirements.
I am a City and Guilds qualified dog groomer and have been fortunate enough to be able to pursue my passion for grooming and set up my own salon at my home in Barnham. I gained my first qualifications at Brinsbury College completing in-depth course work and gaining plenty of practical experience grooming a wide variety of dogs to breed standard guidelines.
I have invested in quality equipment which is kept well maintained and regularly serviced. Hygiene is a top priority and tools and equipment are cleaned and disinfected between dogs. The individual needs of each dog will be taken into account noting age, health conditions and temperament so that your dog receives the best experience and is sent home happy, settled, beautifully clean and fresh with a smart new haircut.

Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
The vast majority of dogs have a better groom when left with us as they tend to be relaxed and not rely on their Mum or Dad to be there.
On the rare occasion where it would be better for you to be present then we will contact you. We have your details and will give you advance notification when the groom is about to be completed so you can come and collect them.
This will always depend on the type of dog you have and the type of lifestyle they lead. Generally it is better for your dog if they come every 6-8 weeks. Dogs that are double coated, will drop their coats at different times but coming into the studio every 3 months will help remove any loose hair build up and help them prepare for the changes in seasons.
You will find that together we will find a schedule that suits you.
You should bring them after 12 weeks and once they have been fully vaccinated.
We expect to see your dog in a good condition in so far that you regularly groom your dog at home and is free of matted hair. If this is not the case then unfortunately the groom will take longer and incur an additional fee which we will discuss before you leave.
We fully understand that life is never simple and there will be times when you cannot attend or simply are running late, please contact us as soon as you can, we will endeavour to resolve the problem.
We are required by law to comply with Section 5 of the Animal Welfare Act (2007), which states that “all animals are to be protected from pain, injury, suffering and disease”, for example this would be applicable to a dog that has heavy matting as this can cause a dog significant pain and discomfort. In these circumstances I am required to advise you that clipping the coat short to remove the matted hair is necessary. We will however require your permission to do this.
Please advise us if your dog has a particular problem, a simple discussion will sort most issues, however we reserve the right not to complete the groom if your dog is aggressive and threatening. Please ensure that your dog has had a good walk and given the chance to relieve itself before you come to the studio. This really will help your dog to be comfortable during the groom.
Any dogs found to have fleas will go straight into a flea bath with special shampoo to remove them. The studio will also need to be treated to avoid cross contamination therefore we will make a charge of £6 per dog to cover the extra costs involved. You will be advised to treat your dog and your home environment to eradicate the problem.
We can accept cash payments and bank transfers. Details will be provided when booking.
We love caring for pets! Schedule right here on our site for a meet and greet, or to make any pet services appointment. If you have a special request, send us a message, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
